This book is from the boy character's point of view. This boy has a mental disability like Forrest Gump, who is very intelligent in math and thinks everything in a logical sense. He discovers his neighbor's dead dog, with a big fork (one used for farming?) pierced through its body in the middle of his neighbor's yard. His neighbor thinks it is him who murdered the dog, but the boy tries to find out who the murderer is. This motivates him to write a novel about the mystery of the murder of his neighbor's dog. He lives with his father, and he has a pet rat who he likes to spend time with. One day, he hears that his mother died of a disease. However there wasn't even a funeral. But, later, the boy finds out these letters in his dad's room, where his dad kept it away from the boy. The boy becomes furious from his dad. The boy and his family goes through hard times resolving conflicts, and the boy goes through different feelings of confusion, overwhelmed feelings, and happiness.

This book reminds of the character Forrest Gump. Both characters have a mental disabilities, but they are incredibly intelligent than normal people. I think the character in the book has the logical, critical thinking brain and Forrest Gump has the physical endurance, athletic brain. They both manage to both get through their lives regarding they both have disabilities. Also, they have life obstacles that they must overcome. Moreover, both have strong devotion towards their families, with a strong bond to their mothers.

If I were this boy, I would be extremely mad at my father if he lied that my mother died even though she did not. Also, I would be mad at my mother for running away from dad, and living with my neighbor in a different city. In addition, I would be mad at the people around me for always disregarding that I can be able to do things that they can do, and looking down low at me. It was very interesting to read a novel in the autistic boy's point of view because I could get the full of picture of how he feels towards things, and on his thoughts of the situations he goes through.

my second book

I am now reading "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
I have read the first five chapters of this book, and it has been pretty much the exposition. Harry Potter is the main character of the book, which he has been the only person to survive from a Dark Lord,Voldemort. Dumbledore is also an antagonist, who helps and protects Harry Potter.

A recent news was told a prophecy said that Harry Potter is to kill Voldemort. Everybody in the wizardry world has been in panic mode since Voldemort was back in danger. Harry Potter's potion professor, Snape (one of the followers of Voledemort, the "Death Eaters") promises Draco's mother (who is also part of the Death Eaters) that he will help Draco (Harry Potter's classmate) to kill Harry Potter. The irony is that Snape is also part of the Order of the Phoenix, a group that fights and tracks down Voldemort.

This book seems to have a very long exposition. I think I would have to read more than half way through the book to face the main conflict of the story. I think someone will die in the story again. Also, I wonder if there is going to be any romance in the story, because the Harry Potter series digs deeper in romance as the characters mature.

Five People You Meet In Heaven

Yes! I'm done with the book! I knew that I would be enjoying this book even before reading this book. Mitch Alboom is such a wonderful writer. His books' themes are always very meaningful to our lives, and its universally agreed and touched upon many people. The book's theme is that everything happens for a reason, even the bad things that may happen. You never know what each event has lead to in your life. I think another theme in this book is that life is beautiful. Alboom's books always tell us beautiful things about life.

It was very touching when Eddie, the main character met his wife in heaven, who he hadn't seen for a long time. He sincerely loved her. Just like Eddie, I would be overwhelmingly happy to see a lover that I haven't seen for a quite a long time. I would cry so hard just like how Eddie was when he saw her. Just like Eddie, I would wonder whether it would be a dream. I loved how the author expressed Eddie's emotions. I can totally feel how Eddie is feeling inside. It was also touching when he met his strict father whom he had been angry for his whole life. There was a reason why his father was strict to him. He realized that rather than not ever facing his father, he should go up to him and forgive his father. I think the book is trying to say that every action and emotion from each human being doesn't happen without any reason. Eddie realizes the story behind his father.

All in all, I love this book. Everyone should read this book at least once in their lifetime. I would also recommend the book, "Tuesdays With Morrie" because it's another life-related book. Through reading Alboom's books, I learned so much about life, and gained some words of wisdom. No matter how much we are unsatisfied with out lives, if we look at our lives as a whole picture, we

Rihanna's Disturbia

This song lyric relates to the theme of The Colomber since the person in the lyric is under fear, and it feels like something is haunting her. In The Colomber, Stefano is under the fear of the monster. His mind is obsessed with the monster.

indirect characterization

Cody was a TCIS student, who was walking in the hallway with his friends, and he realized tomorrow was Peppero Day. He didn't care whether he was going to get a peppero or not from a girl because he had no hope. It was finally Peppero Day. As usual, he walked to his locker to pickup his textbooks. Suddenly, a smile was lit on his face when he realized there was a brownish box sitting in his locker. His heart seemed to have jumped suddenly, and he felt like it was from a girl that he had solely had interests in ever since the beginning of his high school year. He took a look around at the hallway, and he saw a girl smiling at him across his locker. Yes indeed, it was the girl which he figured was his secret admirer. He went over and talked to this girl. Later after school, he ran over to his friends and told them about his happy day he had. He couldn't wait to talk to her again.

five people you meet in heaven entry no.2

This is my second entry on the book, "The Five People You Meet In Heaven." I am a little more than halfway through the book. This past week, I read the part where the main character, eddie, he realizes that he has his paralyzed leg because his military captain shot him in the leg in order to make him run away from dying in a dangerous situation. Also, he realized his military captain was killed from a hidden bomb from escaping the prison camp they were captured in. The transition after eddie's captain telling the story to eddie is amazing. After eddie forgives the captain from paralyzing his leg, the dark forest that they were surrounded in turns into a beautiful place, and the captain becomes cleaner and better looking. Then, eddie procedes to his next person. He then meets Ruby, the original owner of the Ruby Pier. It turns out that there was a sad love story behind making the amusement park. Also, eddie learns more about his father, and why his father was so strict to him.

This book had made me reflect upon the things I must do in life so that I won't feel regretful, and to be thankful of the life that I'm living in. Also, it made me think about viewing things in a different perspective. Moreover, the book had made me understand that there are always reasons for things that happen. For example, the reason why eddie got his leg paralyzed was because his captain was trying to save him from facing death. Also, there was a reason why his father was suffering from a major depression and had always had a bad facial expression. I learned that no matter how much we do not understand the other's situation, we should learn to forgive one another because you never know what they are going through in life.

When I lost my uncle, I used to wonder whether he will end up in heaven or not. I even questioned whether the existence of God was true after his death. I was afraid that he wasn't going to up in a happy place in heaven, and that his soul was going to be gone forever. It was sad to think that because all of our family are living here on earth, for he died at such a young age. I had a little idea in my head that maybe heaven was just made up, to hide our fears about death. This book made me feel more comfortable of what is out there after death. Hopefully, even though heaven will not be like this book, I really hope that heaven does exist for those that believe in the Lord. I hope our souls are everlasting.

the five people you meet in heaven_

Over the past week, I have been reading a book called, "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom. I am halfway through this book. I wanted to read this book after reading Albom's inspiring book called "Tuesdays with Morrie." Albom's stories are always filled with morals and words of wisdoms that we can obtain in our lives. Before reading, the title of the book made me curious. The question popped in my head: What five people do we meet in heaven? Also, I have always pictured an image in my head what heaven is supposed to be like, as I do believe there is a judgement day after death.

This book is about an old man who owns an amusement park. He has worked in the amusement park since he was a child, because his dad had owned the amusement park before it was passed onto him. He tries to save a girl from a ride accident after sacrificing his life to her. He ends up in heaven after he loses his life. It turns out it was his amusement park. He meets five people that have been part of his life. They have been waiting to tell him a story about their life, and to give him words of wisdom. He gains more perspective about life and its meaning.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants words of wisdom about life. You will find deep morals. This book is not so serious, and the author focuses on the past and the present. If you are curious about the image of heaven, then read this book!
